Tanqory Apps
You host your app. Tanqory frames it.
That sentence is the whole model, and most surprises come from forgetting it. Tanqory stores your app's URL, its manifest, and the permissions each merchant granted it. It never stores your code. You deploy whenever you like, to whatever you like, in whatever language you like — nothing about a deploy involves us.
npm install @tanqory/plugin-sdk
What an app can do
| Surface | What it is |
|---|---|
| Embedded UI | Your web app, rendered in an iframe inside the merchant's dashboard |
| Scoped API access | Calls to the merchant's store data, limited to the permissions they granted |
| Webhooks | Signed events Tanqory posts to your endpoints when things happen in the store — with a delivery log you can inspect and replay |
| Background work | Server-to-server access that keeps working when no merchant is looking |
What a version means
A version pins your manifest — scopes, URLs, webhook topics — not your code.
- Deploying new code changes nothing here. No submission, no review, no waiting. That is the point of hosting it yourself.
- Changing your manifest needs approval, because it changes what merchants agreed to. Asking for a new permission means existing merchants keep running on the old one until they approve the new.

Quickstart — five minutes to an app running inside a real store's dashboard.
Then
Build
- AI assistants — Claude Code and Cursor get this platform wrong by default.
AGENTS.mdis already in your project - CLI reference — every
tanqory appcommand - Manual setup — the same trip on foot, for a project you already have
What an app can do
- Authentication — the three credentials and when each applies
- Permissions — every scope you may request, and what review asks about them
- Notifications — take over a notification type, or add a channel Tanqory does not run
Ship it
- Submit for review — what a version pins, what preflight checks, what a reviewer reads
- Going live — your listing, what a merchant agrees to, and rotating a secret safely
